On Sunday, the Miss Deeds gathered at Miss Perfection's home to make Easter Baskets for Olive Crest Abused Children's Home.

We all chipped in $20 and bought lots of Disney, toiletries, and decorative stuffing to make Easter baskets for Olive Crest's annual event. We ended up making 18 - 6 for little girls, 6 for teenage girls, and 6 for teenage boys.

Each Miss put her own special touch on the baskets, making every basket unique and personal. "Miss Perfection" was trying her best not to fix and critique everyone's work.

Life is truly sweeter when you give, as we had a sweets and treats buffet on a tiered serving tray filled with cupcakes and candies. Unbelievably, "Miss Jolie" actually baked and put icing on yummy vanilla cupcakes (thus accounting for her vintage housewife look that day) while Miss Classy topped them off with sprinkles. And "Miss Secret" was, of course, fashionably late and texting boys while making baskets... ;o)

We ended the day with a meal on the patio of Cafe TuTu Tango listening to the tropical beats of the performer outside, playing Lionel's Ritchie's "Easy Like Sunday Morning" (plus we made off like bandits with an entire free box of fresh raspberries on the almond flan -- you'd have to be there to understand the significance of that one). A fun and easy Sunday it was indeed...

Are you interested in getting into "Miss Deeds" with us?

We're based out of Orange County\Los Angeles California.

We're not a non-profit -- just a group of girls that wanna have fun and share a passion for philanthropy.

Commitments:

You must be over 21 (our fun outings usually involve "over 21" locations) and preferably a working professional, every so often our excursions require $$$...plus we LOVE to shop...
Quarterly: Participate in monthly charitable group activities with the "Miss Deeds". This can include activities, dinner banquets, visits to senior homes, etc.
Semi-Annually: Participate in our quarterly girl trips\mini-vacations. Whether it be 3 day cruises to Mexico, spa days, or Vegas -- be ready for some fun times with all girl trips...
Annually: Every "Miss Deed" must host a dinner party for all the other "Miss Deeds" once a year.

Don't be:

A flake -- we all have busy schedules and understand this happens when you can't join us. But we're all working professionals and truly believe in giving -- we don't have time to involve people who are non-responsive or flake out.

Joan, the Vice-President of Miss Deeds, is a former Miss Chinatown Los Angeles Princess and the epitome of class, poise, and elegance. She is presently supporting: Worldvision and Olive Crest Children's Home
Pam - "Miss Perfection"
Creativity and design is her forte, from invitations, decor, to flower arrangements - she has her own business and does it all. Not one thing can be out of place in order to pass her high standards, thus "Miss Perfection" -- creator of the Miss Deeds logo
Victoria - "Miss Secret"
Behind the innocent face is a wild gal obssessed with "Victoria's Secret" lingerie. You think you know her, but you don't...thus her nickname "Miss Secret". She presently supports: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society & will be running in the 2007 LA Marathon.
Diane - "Miss Princess Di"
"Miss Princess Di" is sweet and demure just as you would imagine Lady Diana to have been. She's now getting into the philanthropic side of the house after closing escrow on her own home. Congrats on her accomplishment!
Brittanie - "Miss Jolie"
Nicknamed "Miss Jolie" as a tribute to her hero, "Angelina Jolie", Brittanie is the president of the Miss Deeds organization. She presently supports: Make a Wish, Mercy House, YMCA, Boys & Girls Club, and refugee causes.
